Today the State Attorney General’s office filed a request with Judge Berdote Byrne, asking the court to appoint a receiver to control all of Wallace’s assets and start imposing fines of up to $150K per day.

Judge Berdote Byrne denied appeals made by Wallace and ordered him to comply with her previous decision on June 3, 2019. She cautioned that if he did not comply with the order, further actions could be taken by the court.

The second reading was held on 6/17/19, with 100% approval for advancement to a vote in the full Senate. On 6/20/19 the Senate voted and passed the bill with a few amendments.
